Agricultural excursion: the most Valencian products: Horchata and Rice

Program:

9:30 Departure from Valencia.

10:00 Arrival at the farmstead (alquería) PLANTA I CULL.

With this tour, we will have the opportunity to learn everything about two of the most famous Valencian products: horchata and rice.

We will visit "huerta valenciana" (valencian vegetable garden) to visit a farmstead where some experts will explain us everything about the cultivation of the tiger nut (chufa) and the production of HORCHATA, a very typical, refreshing drink of the city of Valencia. Also, we will visit a photographic exhibition to learn more about the process of production of this beverage and we will have the possibility to walk through different fields of the vegetable garden and observe the different types of cultivation.

To finish the tour in the best possible way, we will taste the most typical types of rice of the region of Valencia.

14:30 Traditional lunch in a local restaurant of the area.

16.00 End of the visit and return to Valencia.

The trip will take approximately 5 hours.

It is recommended to bring water and a snack for the morning.
